  • Importance and Objective

    •Connect with our clients,
Display their vision and direction, and
Support their partnership with Bryan County
by creating a water tower mural design in under one week.

  • Client Identity

During our project brief, Hyundai shared images that inspired their identity. My team drew heavily from our client's present identity, their extensive past, and vision for the future to begin the ideation phase.

Ideation

Visually my team looked to highlight the industrial nature of the company. We started by gathering inspirational and relevant images to create a moodboard.

Moodboard

Collection of images to highlight key concepts from Hyundai such as environmental concern, industry, and location in mind, while cultivating a desired style.

Early concepts

With a mood board my team began our conceptualization by creating thumbnails of compositions based on key themes.

Developing Our Concept

The development from a rough sketch to a more refined product that incorporates elements of sustainability, industry, and innovation.

Developed palettes

We established these pallets to create depth in our composition while supporting Hyundai's brand identity.

We carefully cross-referenced the available colors to us through TNEMEC, the company Hyundai would use to paint the mural.

At the midpoint, the client had the first opportunity to get a look at our team's work.

For us it was our opportunity to present our ideation development and color compositions and most importantly a chance to get feedback.

Final Design

Based on the client feedback we tweaked our design to keep core elements but easier to read from far away.

We placed our design on location where the water tower will be built.

Isometric

I built a 3D model and rendered different isometric views .

Final Thoughts

This project was an amazing opportunity to connect industry and community.
